TILES

Ceramic tiles have been part of the Mediterranean ceramic tradition for centuries. Their simple form and ductility make them an ideal surface for experimentation. In these panels, I work with the tile as a field of exploration where tradition and contemporaneity coexist.

Starting from traditional ceramic techniques, I develop my own visual language through the combination of different clays, engobes, and ceramic oxides. Each panel emerges from manual work and research with the material, seeking new textures, rhythms, and compositions that transform the tile into a pictorial surface.
