HOMOTUNAS

The Homotuna was born in 2010, when I started living in Zahara de los Atunes. Gradually, the surroundings whispered stories and secrets of the sea to me, until the first image appeared: a tuna standing upright. It didn’t take long to transform: a human leg, a changing body, until it became a being with a human body and a tuna head, unique and unrepeatable.

Every hero needs their shadow, and that’s how Federico Orca, his antagonist, appeared. Later, the Tuna Council emerged, with new Homotunas and creatures that gave life to their own community and expanded this universe.

Today, these characters are the protagonists of my stories: symbols of imagination, humor, and the sea, in a world where art and fantasy merge
